About

I graduated from Miami Ad School's Account Planning program in March '09. I'm seeking a Junior Planner or Strategist position in NYC. This Tumblelog is a collection of interesting things I find on the internet. For some (slightly) original thoughts, visit my blog: http://dennisdemori.com/ or check out what I'm posting on Twitter: @DennisDemori

Coca Cola “Velcro posters”
Let people know about how the new Coca-Cola Grip Bottle has a better grip for holding. Posters printed on Velcro were placed in bus shelters in Paris to make people interact with the grip. People literally hooked to the campaign. On the whole, a 3.8% brand volume growth in France compared to 2007.

 Best Nikon D700 Billboard Ad

Here’s guerrilla marketing at it’s best. Taking a cue from our celebrity-obsessed culture, Nikon created a life-like billboard filled with life-like images of paparazzi for the launch of the D700 in Korea. As a potential consumer passes by, the billboard springs to life with multiple flashes light, giving them a feeling of being a true celebrity. Ad placement was also well thought out. The pathway of the red carpet they are walking on leads them right into a store near the Seoul subway station, where they can purchase the Nikon D700. Simply brilliant!

Ad Campaign of the Day: The tap water crusaders at Tappening have stepped up their anti-bottled water game with the launch of a decidedly controversial new ad campaign called Start a Lie, which aims to knowingly spread fabrications concerning bottled water production.
“If bottled water companies can lie, we can too,” say the folks at Tappening. Abigail Van Buren responds: “People who fight fire with fire usually end up with ashes.”
